Substance Recovery Coaching:
Through a non-clinical approach, Cathy will meet you where you’re at in your life and encourage and guide you through your process of recovery. Her role is to serve as your advocate and offer support, companionship and compassion as you face challenges in your new lifestyle.
sober companion:
As a sober companion, Cathy’s job is to be a role-model and power of example to you as you create a life in sobriety. Her own long-term recovery helps her to understand the challenges you face as you move forward into this new lifestyle.
mindfulness meditation Coaching:
The practices of mindfulness meditation manage stress and improve cognitive functioning. Those who engage in this practice regularly tend to be more peaceful, happier, healthier, empathic, intuitive and excited about their lives. Cathy is an experienced practitioner in this relaxation technique and teaches them to her clients.
group workshops:
These programs are a great way to connect with other ‘like-minded’ people and discover new tools and skills to create awareness, strength and serenity. Cathy offers two all-day group workshops – “Grief and Loss” and “Self-Kindness” – both take place in locations in New York City during the year. She also facilitates “A Walk in the Park” – a silent meditative walk through Central Park.
